FundsSavvy was born in order to take the fear out of financial planning and empower women who, for whatever reason or circumstance, may feel insecure about their financial health and are intimidated by traditional advice about money. Providing simple, basic, yet tactical advice will put women in the driver’s seat when it comes to their finances and overall freedom.

FundsSavvy was founded by Elizabeth Keatinge in 2018 after working for several years as a reporter and anchor covering business and finance. She developed a passion for covering women-owned businesses and female entrepreneurs, and began focusing on creating content and reporting on stories on these topics.

In 2020, Elizabeth became certified as a Certified Personal Finance Counselor.

She is currently published on various news stations across the country and through online business platforms including Forbes, FORTUNE and Yahoo Finance.

2. See if a friend will add you on as an authorized user to their credit card. You don’t even need access to the card, just being on as an authorized user will help you build credit.
3. Look into a credit builder loan. You don’t get access to the money right away. You make a fixed payment every month until you have paid it off, then you get access to the money. Payments are reported to credit bureaus.
4. Get a secured credit card.
5. Make sure anything that can be reported to the credit bureaus is getting reported
